Terms and conditions
The terms for stays booked directly with Salvatore Homes, on this website, by phone or by email.

Your booking
Your booking is confirmed once the payment has gone through. You then receive your booking number by email. If you book several homes at once, you pay once and receive a separate booking number for each home.
Prices and payment
All prices are in euros and include VAT and the final cleaning. The full amount for the stay is paid by card when you book. The tourist tax is not included; it is paid at the online check-in before arrival.
Free cancellation
You can cancel free of charge up to 30 days before arrival and receive a full refund to the card you paid with. Cancel online under Manage booking or contact us. For group stays, each home can be cancelled on its own.
Cancellation within 30 days, no-show and early departure
From 30 days before arrival the stay is not refundable. This also applies if you do not arrive or if you leave early. We recommend travel cancellation insurance.
Refunds
Refunds go back to the card used for the booking. It can take 5 to 10 days to appear on your statement.
Changes
Would you like to change your dates or the number of guests? Contact us and we will change your booking if the home is available. Any difference in price is charged or refunded.
Online check-in and identity documents
After the free cancellation period you receive the link to our online check-in. Italian law requires us to register every guest with the police and to report the stay to the official tourism statistics. Please upload a valid passport or identity card for every guest. We cannot host guests without valid identity documents.
Security deposit
At the online check-in you authorise a security deposit of €1,000 on your card. The amount is only held, not charged, and is released after your stay unless there is damage or something is missing.
Tourist tax
The tourist tax is set by the town (Bardolino or Torri del Benaco) and is paid online at the check-in. We do not accept cash.
Arrival and departure
Check-in from 15:00, check-out until 10:00. Please tell us your arrival time in advance.
Guests
Only the guests named in the booking may stay overnight. The maximum number of guests for each home is shown on its page. Infants up to 2 years sleep in a baby cot and do not count towards it; the first cot is free, a second cot costs €100 per stay.
House rules and care of the home
Our house rules are part of these terms. Please treat the home with care; you are responsible for any damage caused during your stay by you or your guests.
VIP transfer
An airport transfer booked together with your stay is paid with it. The same cancellation terms apply.
Bookings on other platforms
If you booked through Airbnb, Booking.com or another platform, the payment and cancellation terms of that platform apply. Please change or cancel your booking there.
If we cannot provide your home
If the home you booked cannot be used for reasons beyond your control, we offer you an equivalent home or refund everything you have paid. We are not liable for events beyond our control, such as severe weather, strikes or orders by the authorities.
No right of withdrawal
As a booking of accommodation for specific dates, there is no statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (Art. 59 Italian Consumer Code). The free cancellation described above applies instead.
Applicable law
Italian law applies. If you book as a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. Questions or complaints: info@salvatorehomes.com.
